- supporting components are not affected by the addition of an engine unit
- maximal velocity is limited to 25 kilometers per hour
- maximal output is lower than 1kW
- displacement rate is less than 50cc
Thus are these bicycles regarded as motorless vehicles and are included in regulations concerning openition rules bicycle traffic on land troughtares
